Band Shoot
I had a great time shooting the Hot Stone Stars today in the studio. They are a fantastic band based out of Santa Cruz. If you have not had the chance to check them out... I strongly suggest you do. this album is a few shots straight out of camera with "grit" applied for the rock and roll affect.
Tate Moore Shoot
I had the pleasure of working with Tate Moore this weekend for about two hours. Below are a couple of shots from the shoot. We hiked down to a water reservoir we stumbled across in Campbell California. there were these really cool islands in the middle that if we had the right equipment, would have been fantastic to shoot on. Perhaps next time.
Quick trip to San Diego
I took a quick trip to San Diego recently. Time i brought along an old friend, Hasselblad 500CM with a 120mm lens. This is probably the best lens they make for this camera, so a good choice second to the standard 80mm. I only had a few roles of film with me, so i wanted to really be particular with my shots. With very little light, and some scouting... i was able to pull off two shots that i really liked, using people i met while traveling. Thank you to both strangers for helping me walk away with some really great souvenirs.
